New EMS codes for Russians

From 1st January 2014 the GCCF are introducing a new system of breed codes. These will be EMS (or Easy Mind System) codes which use a combination of letters (to denote the breed and colour) and numbers (to denote characteristics specific to breeds (ie pattern, eye colour, tipping etc). This system has been adopted by Fife for a number of years. From the start of 2014 the old codes (16a, 16a14c and 16a15 etc) will no longer be in use.

The new codes for our breeds are as follows:

Russian Blue (Green eyed)	RUS a
Russian White(Blue eyed)* cannot be shown	RUS w 61
Russian White (Odd eyed) * cannot be shown	RUS w 63
Russian White(Green eyed)	RUS w 64
Russian Black (Green eyed)	RUS n
Nebelung	NEB
