Following recent bad press regarding the Dog world, the GCCF wishes to be seen as being pro-active in maintaining good breeding practice. To this end they have published general recommendations in a new publication “GCCF Breeding Policy”. This document is available in a printed booklet form from the GCCF and is also on the website (pdf - long download!) This document is full of advice for breeders and should be read by all.
The link above will take you to the front page and the Breeding Policy is at the lower end of this page. Every BAC will have to formulate its own Breeding Policy tailored to their specific breed which has to be submitted to the GCCF Genetics Committee by January 2011. The Final draft Breeding Policy was submitted in January 2011 to the GCCF Genetics Committee as requested. The Russian BAC is now awaiting the comments of the Committee.. If you have any points to raise or wish to make any comment please contact me.

As we would like the make this web site more useful to the readers we hope to make a number of improvements. Firstly we hope to have links to the breeder's own web sites.
We would also like to have Kittens Available and Stud List sections. A list of Regional Advisors would be very useful too.
Registered Breeders - please send us the information you would like included and it will appear on this web site. We will contact the owners of Stud cats and the Regional Advisors ourselves.
