New Year, New Venue for the Russian Show!

Happy New Year everyone! We hope you enjoyed Christmas however you and the “Furries” in your life spent it.

With the turn of the year it’s time for your show management team to think in earnest about the 26th Championship Show. It has been decided that due to rising costs we can no longer stay at the Guildhall, Abingdon.

We have a great new venue, the Spadesbourne Suite, Burcot Lane, Bromsgrove, B60 1AA. The venue is good news for us in so many ways, it is light and airy, spacious, excellent car parking and has a market on the day of the show. There are numerous places of interest nearby too:

• Cadbury World for the chocoholics amongst us (that should be nearly everyone!)
• The NEC is very close too with all the events it will have on at the beginning of October.
• Worcester & Birmingham canal is on the doorstep (with its narrowboat hire centres)
• Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings
• Royal Worcester Porcelain Museum

Further afield are the towns of Ironbridge and Whitley Court. For the fisherman amongst you coarse fishing locations abound in the local area too.

We hope you will all continue to support the Russian Blue Show and that the new venue will prove to be a roaring success.

We of course welcome new exhibitors with open arms and the Show Buddy scheme will be there to help our new friends as usual.

We see the new venue as a good opportunity for the Russian Show to expand and develop, we hope you will too.
